Where Is JAFZA Gate 11?
Gate 11 is on the southern side of Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA South), in the Jabal Ali Third area. Key reference points:
- It is listed as the EGA Jebel Ali South gate — right by the Emirates Global Aluminium (formerly Dubal) smelter complex.
- It sits near the Jebel Ali–Lahbab Road (E77) corridor, which runs along the zone’s southern edge toward Expo City Dubai.
- The surrounding blocks are heavy industrial and logistics: JAFZA showrooms, logistics industrial units (LIUs), and the Jebel Ali Metro Depot are all in this pocket.
What Is Near JAFZA Gate 11?
- Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) Jebel Ali — one of the world’s largest aluminium smelters, the dominant landmark of the area.
- JAFZA Showrooms and LIU 1–5 — logistics and industrial units clustered around the southern gates.
- Jebel Ali Metro Depot — the Red Line depot, just north of the gate area.
- Expo 2020 / Expo City Dubai — a short drive east via the E77 corridor.
- Logistics and transport companies — freight forwarders and fleet operators line the roads around Gates 10–12.
How to Reach JAFZA Gate 11
By car
From Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), take the Jebel Ali–Lahbab Road (E77) / Expo Road exits and follow signs for JAFZA South and Gate 11. The gate is well signposted once you are on the southern service roads.
By metro + taxi
The nearest Red Line stations are Energy and Danube; from either, take a taxi to the gate. RTA buses 99, F54, and 91 serve the wider JAFZA area — check current routes on the RTA or Moovit app before travelling.

Entry Rules: What Drivers Need
Like every JAFZA gate, Gate 11 requires a valid Tasreeh gate pass — the electronic pass system run by the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC):
- Day, weekly, monthly, and annual passes are available depending on how often you enter.
- Drivers need a driver pass plus a copy of their driving licence for day-pass applications.
- Tools and equipment passes cover bringing gear into the zone for a day or up to three months.
- Carry your Emirates ID and vehicle registration — security checks them at the barrier.

Driver and Logistics Tips for Gate 11
- Match the gate to your destination. If your delivery or meeting is in the southern blocks (EGA area, LIUs, showrooms), Gate 11 saves a long internal drive versus entering at Gate 3 on the north side.
- Truck drivers heading to the port terminals should book DP World truck appointments in advance — unbooked trucks can be turned away.
- Keep your pass and documents ready before the barrier to avoid holding up the queue.
- Plan around shift changes at the industrial plants — the southern gates get busy when shifts turn over.

Gate 11 vs Other JAFZA Gates
| Gate | Side of zone | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Gate 3 | North (E11 side) | Immigration, police, banks, northern industrial blocks |
| Gate 4 | North-central | Jafza head office (Building 15) — Jafza’s advised entry |
| Gate 11 | South (E77 side) | EGA, southern LIUs, showrooms, Expo corridor |
Pick the gate closest to your destination inside the zone — crossing JAFZA internally in a truck wastes time at internal checkpoints.
